Doctor :   Hi
User :   Hi
Doctor :
How can I help you?
User :   Same doctor still?
Doctor :
I am here
User :   I was talking to a doctor not sure if this is the same one?
User :   Oh Hi
Doctor :
No I have not chatted with you before
User :   So I was hoping to talk about allergies
User :   My symptoms are occur at random times
User :   I have tried to find a link but can't
User :   I tried a nasal steriod but it did not do anything
Doctor :   Ok

User :   my symptoms are runny nose, sneezing a lot, like excessive
Doctor :
Allergy in the sense could you explain about it
Doctor :
User :   I had a sinus x-ray and it showed normal
Doctor :
Does it happen everyday?
User :   Not every day but at least 2 to 4 days a week and year round
User :   When I use over the counter the pill Drixoral it seems to help but has become less effective
Doctor :   Ok

Doctor :
Firstly has it been confirmed as Allergy?
User :   no
User :   I just assumed since they ruled out sinus infection
Doctor :   Ok

Doctor :
Have you consulted an ENT surgeon?
User :   No, I was wondering if there was anything I could do before that
User :   because its more a bothersom then life threatening
Doctor :   Yes

User :   Major sneezing and runny nose
User :   it has been happening for over a year
User :   I use to have a chronic cough but that seems to have gone away
User :   might not be linked
Doctor :   Ok

Doctor :
It does have association
Doctor :
First you need to evaluate yourself
Doctor :
if any foods or exposure is aggravating your symptoms
User :   So keeping a strick journal I was thinking
Doctor :   Yes

Doctor :
And the next thing is to consult an ENT surgeon
Doctor :
if it is present mainly in the morning
Doctor :
when you get up
Doctor :
then it is likely to be Vasomotor rhinitis as well
User :   hmmm seems to be unpredictable
User :   but does seem to happen more often at work so I am thinking an enviromental thing
User :   so ENT what does that stand for?
Doctor :   Ear nose throat

User :   oh right okay
Doctor :
Are you not familiar with the abbreviation?
Doctor :
Is it called differently in your country?
User :   No that sounds right we just dont usually say they are a surgeon
Doctor :   Ok

User :   just a specialised doctor
Doctor :
So if it is mainly in the morning everyday
Doctor :
then vasomotor is a possibility
User :   so what is vasomotor, just the muscles in the nose tissue?
Doctor :   It is a vascular response

Doctor :
the blood vessels in the nose react differently
User :   oh
User :   hmm as a child I use to have extream nose bleeds
Doctor :
User :   but not any more
Doctor :
it is common in children
Doctor :
and usually wont have long term complications
User :   oh okay
Doctor :   And if required the ENT specialist

Doctor :
would ask for an Allergy test
User :   yeah but I think it would be hard to narrow it down to do an allergy lest
Doctor :   Ok

User :   well thanks, I dont think I have any other questions
Doctor :
Please fill the feedback form say done when done.
User :   done
User :   One last question
Doctor :   Sure
User :   how long does it normally to take for Arthrotec to work?
Doctor :   It does work in few hours

User :   50 mg twice a day
Doctor :
