User:Hi Doctor
User:my doctor suggested me to take Duoluton-L tablets twice a day for 10 days for missing period
User:started having from 2 days...
User:now am feeling slight giddiness , uncomfortable in stomach , and feeling more hungry
User:is there any alternative way to avoid these side effects.. actually am working on some critical project and couldn't pay attention in the work

User:I don't have provision to take any long leave of 8 days now
User:23rd of this month , it got delayed by 2 days.. so consulted the doctor.. she scanned and told that 3 cm of cyst was formed
User:due to that period has not come , looks like I have ovaluated but not concieved
User:I had laproscopic surgery for removal of chocalatecyst
User:exactly 1 year back
Doctor:Yes, ultrasound scan is most specific tool to confirm pregnancy; so pregnancy is ruled out.
User:after that I getting periods very regularly
Doctor:The current symptoms that you have are the effects of this pill.

Doctor:It contains hormones which can induce symptoms similar to pregnancy.
User:any other alternative pill which doesn't have these side effects?
Doctor:These symptoms are usually noted in the initial few days and disappear spontaneously.

Doctor:In this circumstance, the options available to you are:
Doctor:1. If the symptoms are not very troubling, you can try continuing it for a day or two. If symptoms improve then you can continue with the same schedule.
User:any food intake can supress these symptoms?
Doctor:2. If symptoms are very troubling, you can report back to your doctor. She can consider either stopping pills and waiting for periods to start or prescribing other pills like plain levonorgestrel (primolut N)
