User :   I am 67.5 years of age in good health, but in 6 months my left eye has lost some vision that cannot be corrected with lenses. Recent pictures of my left retinal show a thinning in progress.

User :   6months ago for glasses. just 2 days ago tested again with the loss of vision

User :   doctor wants me back in 1.5 months to check eye again. He states I have a thinning of the left retinal
Doctor :   do you have diabetes or high blood pressure ?
User :   hbp, but very well controlled at 135/75

Doctor :   and your right eye is completely normal ?
User :   yes
Doctor :   also your doctor had not advised you for laser treatment ?
User :   no
Doctor :   well i would advise the same as per your eye doctor that you do need constant physical examination of eye every 1. to 2 months
User :   can you tell me what can cause this and how serious
Doctor :   as there is no proper conventional treatment and not every one is suited for surgery
User :   I cannot read anymore typing out of space
Doctor :   its cause is not well understood
Doctor :   but its not a serious condition
Doctor :   and it can stop progressing too
User :   could I lose my eye sight soon
Doctor :   no the progression of this condition is very slow .. but one is required to have regular eye examination
