User :   Hi
User :   hi
User :   I am Dr. xxx
User :   Let me read your query
User :   Give me a couple of minutes
User :   kindly give me specific answer
User :   sir are you there
User :   YES
User :   mosi - d has a antibipotic & a steroid
User :   *antibiotics
User :   also you may be posted for fundoscopy
User :   to check for your diabetic retinopathy
User :   hence you have been asked too take the tropicamide derops
User :   *drops
User :   as to whether you can take the 2 drops together, ..
User :   all these drugs have very short life and do not interact with each other
User :   So medically speaking you can take these meds, without any contraindication or problem in the future
User :   yes sir i want to know in what conditions we can take mosi-d steriod type eye drops and pupil dilation drop tropicamide simultaneously please give me 2 or threee examples
User :   there are no such medical conditions, where you need to take these meds simultaneously
User :   but you have been asked to take tropicamide drops, coz, u may be undergoing retinoscopy ( to visualise your inner eyes) when you see your doctor in a few days
User :   Are u scheduled to see your doc, in the near future?
User :   sir in internet we have read that in uventitus and in iritis we used atropine and steriods simultaenously can we explain the mechanism please
User :   steroids reduce the inflammation,
User :   atropine causes iris dilation ( and prevents further damage)
User :   iris movements in iritis (uveitis) causes pain
User :   sir in brief kindly answer me that tropicamide which is a pupil dilation drops to see the fundus examination in diabetic retinopathy and mosi-d eye drop which contains moxifloxacin antibiotic and dexamethanose have any contradiction or long term effect in my eyes sir i m a depressive patient so kindly suggest me some specific answer
User :   I understand your anxiety,
User :   But REST ASSURED, that both these medicines are safe to use in your current condition
User :   Have you understood, my comments ?
User :   sir in last kindly solve this equation tropicamide(pupil dilation drop)+ mosi-d(moxifloxacin antibiotic+dexamethanose steriod)=nothing serious inmy eyes in the future or some thing harm in my eyes in the future
User :   YES - there are no future problems if you take the medicines
User :   these meds have short life in the body,
User :   also since these are drops , they act locally in the eye, and are not being absorbed systemically and hence they are not going to affect the rest of the organs in any way
User :   sir so we can use both these two eye drops simultaneously sir i will be quite thankful to you if you suggest one or twoconditions in which we can give these two drops simultaneously and after that it will be end
User :   Any inflammatory condition -you can give a antibiotic added with a steroid ( to reduce inflammation)
User :   sir i want to know about not only steriod type eye drops but wants to know mixing of steriod type eyedrop with pupil dilation drops such as tropicamide
User :   and tropicamide has no other action in the body other than to dilate the pupils
User :   there is no mixture of steroids + tropicamide
User :   as there are no indications at all for this purpose
User :   the information you have asked now, is not valid in its form
User :   sir this will be the last question berfore dilating the pupil by using tropicamide shall doctor asked a patient about what drop he is taking or in other words can we dilate the pupil by using tropicamide when a patient is already using steriod type eye drop thanks
User :   yes , sure
User :   both the meds have no interaction bet ween themselves
