User :   I currently take 150 mg of Luvox CR for OCD. I have also always had a problem with sleeping. I do not want to take perscription sleep aids so I am trying other alternatives. I tried a 25mg table of doxylamine succinate (unisom) last night and it didn't really help. Prior to being on Luvox CR I used to take 3mg melatonin and a dose of Nyquil. I can no longer take the Nyquil because the cough medicine may cause seratonin syndrome.
My question is, if I take Luvox CR with a half table (12mg) of the doxylamine succinate with a 3 mg melatonin will it be a deadly interaction?
Doctor :   Hi
Doctor :   let me read
Doctor :   melatonin and the luvox cr are all having the ability to cause neurochemical imbalance in the brain.

Doctor :   all side effects do not occur in given every individual
Doctor :   if it has not caused any problem in you than it is good
Doctor :   make sure it is taken under the supervision of the doctor
User :   will the combination kill me? or is it other types of side effects which can occur.
Doctor :   the side effects can range from behavioral changes to fatal out comes.
Doctor :   it is always better to follow non pharmacological measures for the sleep disturbances
