Ok do you have the pain now?
User :   IT IS CONSTANT UNLESS I AM LAYING DOWN
Doctor :
What is the grade of the pain on scale of 1 to 10
User :   AN EASY TEN, MAYBE 11
Doctor :   Look if you are not able to get any relief from the pain even after those pain medications there is something wrong with the medicines or the healing process
User :   WE HAVE HAD A BLIZZARD HERE, AND I LIVE ALONE, A WIDOW, 60 YEARS OF AGE

Doctor :
Do you have any other medical conditions?

User :   I AM IN EWING NEW JERSEY, NO OTHER CONDITIONS
Doctor :
I understand your pain so I cannot complain on your typing
Doctor :
I am bothered about the severity of the pain, 10 out of 10
User :   THAT MAKES TWO OF US.
Doctor :
I suggest you to take the same medicine and keep a support of the elbow called an elbow band
Doctor :
so that it does not hang freely from the shoulder
User :   I CAN NOT FUNCTION, CQN NOT REQDH IN THE FRIDGE FEED THE CATS, MQKE A SANDWICH. ALSO HVE NOT INSURANCE, JUSE MADDICAID.
Doctor :
I understand, but I suggest you not to hang the elbow
Doctor :
down the shoulder as it increase the pain
Doctor :   You need a elbow band tied to your neck so that the pain is reduced

Doctor :
A family doctor can help you in tying that
User :   YES, I HAVE TRIED HOLDING IT UP, USING A SLING, AND RESTING IT ON OBJECTS SUCH AS THE KEYBOQRD THING HOLDING THIS KEYBOARD, ALSO LEANING BACK IN A CHAIR TO APPLY SOME PRESSURE TO THE SHOULDER BLADE AREA THESE SUPPLY LIMITED RELIEF BUT NOT ENOUGH TO FUNCTION..
Doctor :   Ok
User :   OK, BUT DUE TO THE BLIZZARD I AM NOT ABLE TO GET TO A DOCTOR.
Doctor :   That is sad
User :   CAN I MAKE ONE OF THESE ELBOW BANS THat you speak of?
Doctor :
Did you try numbing the area of pain with ice cubes
User :   NO
Doctor :
You can put the Ice cube over the area of highest pain
Doctor :
directly over the skin
Doctor :
and then to the surrounding area
User :   WILL THAT
Doctor :
Put the ice cube over the skin for atleast 10 to 15 minutes
Doctor :
It should help you for few hours
User :   WORK AS THE PAIN IS INSIDE THE ELBOW AND THE SHOULDER, NOT ON THE TOP
Doctor :
Yes
User :   SO I GUESS THAT IS IT TILL I CAN GET OUT? NO ELBOW BAND?
Doctor :
Elbow band is not a possibility
Doctor :
for you to do alone
User :   OK
User :   SO I GUESS THAT'S IT FOR NOW
Doctor :
Please contact me
Doctor :
if any other problem
Doctor :
I guess this should help you
Doctor :
But you can try with any posture which will give you better relief and try to stick to that posture
Doctor :

Doctor :
