User :   It's been 2 years since my last endoscopy. So I got it done recently with the same results I have mild inflammation of the stomach. No hpolyri, he wasnt sure of the cause of my inflammation but said maybe acid since I went to see him due to burping. I have cut out tomatoes all acidic foods and my guess is that to really heal this you have to eat pretty bland. He told me to take prilosec 2 a day for 3 months and see if it clears up. For the past 2 years I didn't take it everyday I just sorta took it when I felt burping coming on. Will this go away if i follow this for 3 months? Or am I doomed to take acid reducers and eating bland forever?
