User :   Doc, i am working , hence working always with tension.. extra hours working.. caused Acidity..

User :   i am 39, married, having 2 daughters..

User :   from alst 2-3 years.. no major precautionary / cure etc measures hv been taken..

User :   not on any medications..
User :   regular diet..
User :   morning b'fast, 1 pm lunch.. 8.30 pm dinner.

Doctor :   Well i would suggest you to divide your meal into 5 meal a day and take it every 4 hr interval your diet is the key to having any recovery from Acidity

Doctor :   and that is another thing that you need to keep in mind that once a patient you will have it recurring some time at later date so you need to be prepared

Doctor :   Well divide you meal just that you need to make sure that at 4 hours interval there needs to be something in your stomach that can nullify the acids

Doctor :   eat smaller, more frequent meals to help ease the effects of stomach acid.
Doctor :   avoid any foods you find irritating, especially those that are spicy, acidic, fried or fatty.
Doctor :   Excessive use of alcohol can irritate and erode the mucous lining of your stomach, causing inflammation and bleeding.
Doctor :   Smoking interferes with the protective lining of the stomach, making your stomach more susceptible to gastritis as well as ulcers.

Doctor :   avoid taking NSAIDs รข?? aspirin, ibuprofen and naproxen.

Doctor :   Regular practice of in taking one to two glass of water, in early morning is healthy habit and helpful in acidity control.
Doctor :   Consuming few leaves of tulsi leaves anytime gives relief from acidity
User :   not 2 but may be 1 i am taking.. in full day must be more than 3 lits..of water..
Doctor :   4-5 liters is the most appropriate for any adult

User :   no.. but 1/2 a pil of thyroxine daily.

Doctor :   onions, citrus fruits, spicy foods, as they worsen the acid reflux or acidity disease.
Doctor :   Eat carbohydrate rich food like rice, as they are easily digested and with no acid formation.
