User :   My son (21yrs old) feels nauseous (sweaty, anxious) if he doesnt eat every 3 hours or so. He wakes up in the middle of the night feeling this way as well...and eats. He has put on 15lbs since mid he finds himself eating 6+ times a day. He has gone from 185lbs to 200lbs (he is 5'10")

User :   He has schedule an appt med center with a dr who's specialty is internal medicine...however, is there a cure for acid peptic disease, if indeed it is this?
Doctor :   get an endoscopy done if it shows gastritis then treatment would be with simple antacids / if it shows gastric ulcers then he may need to be put on long term Proton pump inhibitors
Doctor :   yes, there is a cure
Doctor :   but the condition is recurrent if food habits not changed

Doctor :   Anxiety , stress, irregular food habits, any long term medications , prolonged use of pain killers etc
