User :   Hi, anyone there?
Doctor :   Hi
User :   Quick question about height
Doctor :   how can i help you ?
Doctor :   sure
User :   went for a physical and was measured 5ft 9 and hange
User :   change I mean
Doctor :   OK
User :   lower than usual
User :   I've always been 5ft 10
User :   bothered by this, I went to a walk in for another measurement
User :   they measured me at 5ft 10
Doctor :   ok
User :   I doubted them, so they measured me again!
User :   5ft 10
User :   since I was there for so long, I had one more measurement two hours later to account for spine shrinkage during the day..again, 5ft 10
User :   what measurement should I believe?
User :   the second measurement was taken by a doctor
Doctor :   5 feet and 10 inches , no doubt about that
User :   who I asked to do it twice
User :   so why would I get measured at 5ft 9 at the other place
User :   ?
Doctor :   probably a human error
User :   That measurement was taken at 4:45
User :   end of day
Doctor :   or it could be the error in the tape
User :   it wasn't tape
Doctor :   in that case human error most surely
User :   it was one of those scales that also measure weight
User :   well I guess I'm wondering if the second 5ft 10 measurement(s) could also be a mistake
Doctor :   height does not decrease within days
User :   how do I know what one is accurate?
Doctor :   since the doctor has measured twice , the correct one is 5 , 10
User :   they measured twice too...both 5ft 9 and change
User :   could it be because it was the end of the day?
Doctor :   yes
Doctor :   they were in a hurry
Doctor :   probably
User :   so morning and mid-morning heights are your true height?
User :   12: and 3:30 in this case
Doctor :   the height does not change within the day, for your information
User :   that's not what I've read
Doctor :   the height is stable and usually can change over years
User :   Apparently you lose half an inch
Doctor :   but not within a day
User :   spine compression
Doctor :   that is incorrect
User :   not what I've read
User :   and been told
Doctor :   the spine does not shorten or lengthen by the day
Doctor :   the change occurs due to the position maintained while checking the height
Doctor :   and the posture you maintain
User :   when you wake up after a night's sleep, you are taller
User :   then, as the day progresses, you compress
User :   scientific fact
Doctor :   if you completely stretch the spine , u are taller ( apparaantly at the morning you are fresh and you are relaxed )
User :   are you a doctor?
Doctor :   in the evening due to stretch, you tend to slouch , and this could vary
Doctor :   why do you doubt ?
User :   apparaantly?
Doctor :   typing error, my mistake
User :   what are your credentials
User :   never met a doctor that didn't know that you're a bit taller in the morning
Doctor :   sO HAVE you asked the same to a 100 doctors ?
User :   5
User :   they all knew
User :   ok, well this was a waste
User :   hard to trust someone you can't see
Doctor :   Im sorry you feel so
User :   bye
Doctor :   bye for now, and have a good day
