User :   HI, I am 8 weeks 2 days pregnant actually, but sonogram showed it as 8 weeks 4 days but no heart beat.Do u think there was any mistake with the readings. Is my child still alive
Doctor :   was there any bleeding? or stomach pain initially before taking the scan?
User :   Is there any chance of heartbeat in next ultrasound
User :   no
Doctor :   was the scan done in a standard place and by a qualified radiologist?
User :   yes
Doctor :   the scan should be repeated once again, drink a lot of fluids and have a good meal before going for it
Doctor :   such that there is god blood supply and nutrition reaching the baby
User :   ok thanks for ur advice
User :   ok
Doctor :   it should be a
Doctor :   high definition scan
User :   so u mean there is a chance
Doctor :   if it still shows no heartbeat, then it suggests fetal loss
User :   oh
Doctor :   and the products of conception should be removed
User :   but i dont have any cramps or bleeding
Doctor :   to avoid sepsis and other complications
User :   i still have pregnancy symptoms
Doctor :   the absence of cramps and bleeding suggest that there might be chance that the fetus is still viable
