User :   Hi
Doctor :   Hi
Doctor :
How can I help you?
User :   I was suffering from cold and cough during last week. Then I went to doctor who told it is throat infection and gave me antibiotic tablets.
Doctor :
Ok
User :   He prescribed 1. Symbiotik 2. Allercet DC 3. Dolomide
User :   Doctor has prescribed 3 days of course.
Doctor :
Ok
User :   Yesterday night I took only Symbiotik; I felt some dehydration kind of problem in my mouth (mouth getting very dry).
User :   Is it due to Symbiotik tab?
Doctor :   Yes
Doctor :
Symbiotik has amoxycillin and cloxacillin
Doctor :   They cause dehydration
Doctor :
Your Doctor should have advised you to take enough water and take food every 3 hrly
Doctor :
and the tablet should be taken after food
Doctor :
Take food more in fluid form
User :   No, Doctor did not advise me anything about food or water.
Doctor :
like juices, kichidi, watery dal, rasam
Doctor :
Ok, you can follow the said things
User :   My mouth is also tasting different.
Doctor :
above
User :   The different taste of my mouth - is it due to the same symbiotik?
Doctor :
Yes
Doctor :
metallic
User :   Now, 3 days of Symbiotik course is complete. Shall I stop taking the Symbiotik?
Doctor :
How are you feeling otherwise
Doctor :
Do you feel relieved by the course of antibiotic
Doctor :
Were your symptoms reduced?
User :   I am not having cold now. I am having little cough. I went to doctor yesterday evening; he told me - "Now you can stop taking medicine". He also told me - "I will leave it to you to take Symbiotik".
User :   Yes, my symptoms reduced.
Doctor :
I suggest to continue for next two days with good diet
Doctor :
and water
Doctor :
and stop it
Doctor :
Do not eat heavy meal, take foods that are more fluid
Doctor :
Eat home if possible
User :   Ok. Does Symbiotik cause any acidity problem?
Doctor :   Yes if taken with empty stomach

User :   Ok.
User :   I am also on some other medication (acidity problem). I am taking Rabemac DSR everyday morning. Will it be fine taking both the medicines?
Doctor :
Yes
Doctor :
It is good to take the Rabemac DSR.
User :   What is the ideal course period (number of days) for Rabemac DSR?
Doctor :   the same course of Symbiotik
User :   I mean acidity related tablets course...
Doctor :
YEs
Doctor :
Usually the course if initially given for 5 days and extended till 2 weeks
User :   I have been taking the Rabemac DSR from last one month as prescribed by the doctor for acidity! Doctor advised me to continue it for one more month as I still have little symptoms of acidity.
Doctor :   That is fine
Doctor :
It is the safest drug
Doctor :
If the Doctor asks you to continue it may go for 8 weeks also
Doctor :
so it is not about the course
Doctor :
it is about how you feel about the problem
Doctor :
Was the endoscopy done earlier?
User :   Yes, endoscopy isdone and everything is normal.
Doctor :
ok
Doctor :
Continue the same
User :   Doctor told me to add Moza MPS to Rabemac DSR. He prescribed Moza MPS during evening.
User :   However, doctor did not tell me anything about how many days I should take the Moza MPS. Shall I take it for one month along with Rabemac DSR?

Do you have more problem with refluxes in the evenings and night
User :   Yes, I had the refluxes problem 3 days back.
Doctor :
Ok that is the reason why he is put on that
User :   Shall I take it for one month along with Rabemac DSR?
Doctor :   Take Moza for 5 days
Doctor :
and see if the refluxes are stopped
Doctor :
Please fill the feedback form say done when done
