User :   Hello Doctor,
I have my youger kid born on july 1st 2009, she was born with a small syndrome on her spine, we visited the pediatricians and got the answer that things cover in growth. Later after the sixh month of the kid we got to see that there is a weekness in her right leg and was not able to move strong as left leg and the responses were comming weak then we visited the specialist doctors who suggested for a lumbar spine MRI to be done on her 9th month , We had done the MRI on 9th month and visited the pediatrician who picked the problem of "TETHERED CORD SYNDROME" on her spine , one of the cord was fixed and no growth to the upper levels of spine. On his reference we visited to the NeuroLogist and Neurosurgeons who read the problem and suggested for surgery and release the tether.
I have Some questions here
1.As my kid is not even 1 year old is it suggestible to carry a surgery to release the tether ?
2.What is the abnormality if we make the surgery at leter years of age ?
3.My kid do not have any urinal or stool problem all of them are correctly passed and
no issues still we need to go for surgery ?
4. My kid is able to crawl properly and also able to stand taking any support at age of 10 months
5. The only abnormality is the right leg being weak and not able to balance both the legs?
Please provide your valuable analysis and the procedure to follow and save the little kid

Doctor :   and to prevent that
Doctor :   early intervention is to be suggested
Doctor :   what needs to be looked upon now

User :   yes i observerved that she is not able to stand on her both legs properly
User :   is the only abnormality
