Re: wat if ur family caugh u masturbating?
Masturbation is a necessary part of our psychological development. Without masturbation, it would be impossible for an adolescent to grow into a sexually healthy and mature adult. Once we reach adulthood, masturbation becomes less important and is supplemented with sexual activity with another person. At this point in life, many adults have a difficult time making the transition and rely primarily on masturbation for sexual stimulation. This often leads to excessive masturbation which can have several negative side effects.
1. Injury. It is important to take the proper precautions during masturbation. Always use proper lubrication. Using harsh abrasives such as soaps or shampoo can injure the skin of the penis or cause irritation to the vagina. When using external instruments or toys, be careful to not harm your genitals. Masturbation is a physical activity and requires a healthy diet and good cardiovascular health.
2. Psychological Damage. Masturbation can lead to low self-esteem and depression if handled improperly. Because of our current moral standards, masturbation is often concealed in secrecy and in most cases causes extreme guilt. It is important to be honest with yourself about your own masturbation practices. It is not necessary to share your intimate masturbation details with other people, but don't be dishonest with yourself. Don't allow your masturbation practices to destroy your own self-image. Don't allow yourself to feel guilty for masturbating.
3. Masturbation Addiction. Excessive masturbation is usually the result of an addiction to the chemicals and hormones released by the body during orgasm. When a person becomes addicted to masturbation, it becomes difficult to be sexual intimate with another person. This leads to sexual isolation. During sexual isolation, the other sexual partner is replaced with pornography, toys or fantasies. While none of these things are inherently bad, they can become very toxic to the life of a person suffering from masturbation addiction. Usually the individual begins by using mild forms of stimulation such as photographs of the naked human body. When these images no longer successfully stimulate more intense forms of stimulation are used. These new forms of stimulation may include graphic photographs or videos depicting intense sexual fantasies. Gradually, when each form of stimulation loses its eroticism, a person addicted to masturbation will seek an even more intense form of stimulation. In rare cases, this cycle will escalate to include molestation, pedophilia and rape.
