I just had two stints with a heart attack 11/10/2014. They changed my bp meds from lotrel 10/20 to lisinopril 5 mg they doubled the mg to 10 and again to 20. Bloodpressure still thru the roof 180/110. Not lowering at all. Does it take a long time for this to work. Like weeks?

Hi My 86 year old father recently had a stent put into his widow maker artery. He does not have high cholesterol but has been prescribed atorvastatin as basically a protocol drug with this kind of surgery. Is this really important for him to be taking this?

My blood pressure on my left arm is 108 and 99 on the left arm and the doctor did my blood pressure on the right arm and it was 230 . I had no t slept the night before the 230 test results. I did the left arm at Walmart. Wha could cause such differences ?

blood pressure is 178 over 98, has been running 150 to 160ish over 90 to 100 for a couple of weeks on a electronic machine cuff around the bicep, I take 20mg lisinopril, when I relaxed and fell asleep on couch yesterday it was 122 over 80 when my wife checked it.

I m taking high blood medication 50 my COzaar (LOsartan) and have been feeling dizzy. When I checked my BP using the home monitor, it read 108/73 after taking meds a few hours beforehand. Why the dizziness? I m also taking neuroBION tablet once a day.

My mom is taking Losartan 50mg and Metropolol 50mg daily. She is diabetic, no heart condition, she has glaucoma and diabetic retinopathy. After taking the BP meds, instead of going down, it increases. Should she be switched to a different class of BP medication? Thanks in advance
