Re: What is a Normal Pulse Rate?
That is very high. A normal resting pulse for a healthy individual is between 60 and 70 beats per minute (bpm). Anything over 100 bpm (unless you've been exercising) is considered tachycardia -- an abnormally high heart rate. A resting pulse rate of 151 is indeed cause for concern. -M.
