Changes in You

You are probably starting to feel very large by week 28, as your uterus rises to about 3 inches above your navel. You should be steadily gaining weight from this point on, even if your weight gain has been minimal until this point in time.You are getting larger, and as you get larger, you become more uncomfortable. Your legs may ache or cramp. Hot weather, standing for long periods of time, or low blood sugar can make you more prone to dizziness and fainting.

Changes in Your Baby

At this week the Size of the baby is at 35 cm and the baby weighs around 1.1 kgBy pregnancy week 28 your baby is still very slim, carrying around only 2 to 3 percent body fat at most. Still, you may have gained as much as 24 or more pounds by now! Keep in mind pregnancy weight gain is important for your baby.Your baby's lungs are now capable of breathing!! Isn't that big news? Your baby's main job right now is to put the finishing touches on major organ systems, such as his/her brain, lungs and liver. Want to give chocolates to your baby?
